Day 7
DAWN: I began the day on a new tile after escaping the cave in Day 6. I managed my inventory, moving my Spare Parts off my Active Body.
DAY: I moved to a new tile and rolled a 4 on a d6, discovering Grasslands terrain. My event roll was a 4 on 2d6, which allowed me to Discover a Village.
Village Activities:
- Trading: I sold my Solar Light for 5 Bits and spent my money to acquire two Meal Bars and four Fruit, leaving me with 5 Bits remaining.
- Questing: I accepted Quest 1, "The Family Cave," from a villager and marked the new quest location on my map.
- Training: I visited the Fight Club but discovered my Solar Taser did not qualify as a "Me-lee Weap-on" for training TS-1 Dodge & Strike, so I decided against training.
DUSK & DARK: I ate one Fruit, which increased my stats by +1 HP and +2 EP. Sleeping in the village provided a bonus recovery of +5 HP and +4 EP.
I ended the day fully recovered with HP=20 and EP=18.
Day 8: Desert Skirmish
DAY: I left the village and moved to a new tile. A roll of 5 on a d6 determined the terrain was a Desert. My event roll was a 9 on 2d6, triggering an Encounter. A final roll of 1 on a d6 initiated the "Work On Your Car-dio" event, starting combat with a Buster T-5.
Combat:
- The robot attacked first, but its initial blows were ineffective against my defensive gear.
- I used a Basic Attack with my Solar Taser, dealing 7 damage to the robot and lowering its HP to 5. This attack also applied 1 STUN to the enemy, but the subsequent STUN check failed.
- My taser lost its charge for the day, and my fists were ineffective, forcing me to attempt an escape.
- I made three separate escape attempts using the TS-5 Sprint Tech skill, which cost a total of 6 EP. The first two attempts failed, and I took several hits, dropping my HP to 16. The third attempt was successful.
DARK: My successful escape forced me to skip to Step N (Sleep), meaning I could not eat.
- I slept, recovering +3 HP and +2 EP.
